Job role – Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)

We are on the hunt for a confident, organised and experienced Domestic Energy Assessor who is looking for a new opportunity within an ambitious, growing business. The successful candidate will be office based and will utilise their DEA experience to assist with the administrative aspect of producing new energy saving projects.

Duties include:

  • Work alongside the surveying and compliance team to schedule and coordinate property surveys.
  • Liaise directly with customers to arrange surveys and re-schedule when necessary.
  • Ensure all evidence, photos and information is accurate and fully populated for each survey.
  • Input necessary data from site surveys in order to produce pre and post EPRs.
  • Work alongside the Project Modelling manager to model and package up new ECO4 projects.
  • Propose new project specifications to customers, ensuring they are clear on the benefits of their new energy saving measures, and also what to expect regarding the install schedule.
  • Proficiently update CRM software systems and MS Office systems.

To be hired for the role of a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) , we are expecting you to meet the following requirements:

  • Strong analytical and data skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications.
  • Have a proactive problem-solving mindset and are able to use your initiative.
  • Ability to apply a solution-based approach.
  • Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
  • A good understanding of the ECO4 scheme and the associated legislation.
  • DEA experience
  • Good and effective communication skills.
  • Good understanding and capability with general office software, ideally with knowledge of industry software.
