EnergySmart is one of the country’s fastest-growing ECO (Energy Company Obligation) specialists. Our team of 50+ office staff and installers are experts at securing energy saving funding and installing energy efficient improvements in homes across the UK.

We fit energy saving measures into homes, such as internal wall insulation, air source heat pumps, solar panels and electric storage heater upgrades, all of which are funded by the Government backed Energy Company Obligation scheme.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to take ownership of our brand, lead our marketing efforts and drive the growth of our business. As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies that encompass both online and offline channels. Your mission is to elevate our brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and foster customer engagement on a national scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that leverage both online and offline channels to promote our services.
  • Online Marketing: Oversee and optimise our online presence through various channels, including taking ownership of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and Tik Tok. Utilise data-driven insights to continuously improve online performance and increase conversion rates.
  • Offline Marketing: Plan and execute traditional marketing activities, such as print, direct mail, outdoor advertising, community events, pop-up promotions and other relevant offline channels. Measure the effectiveness of these campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Content creation: Create effective content which is fit for purpose across different marketing channels. Have a clear understanding of content marketing and tone of voice, at the same time as ensuring any online content is SEO friendly.
  • Brand Management: Develop and maintain a strong brand identity that reflects our values and resonates with our target audience. Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
  • Lead Generation: Drive lead generation efforts through various marketing initiatives, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads to the sales team. Work closely with sales to develop effective lead nurturing strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget efficiently and effectively, allocating resources to the most impactful marketing activities while focusing on cost-effectiveness.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor marketing performance metrics and prepare regular reports to measure the success of marketing campaigns. Use data to make data-driven decisions and optimise marketing efforts.
  • Relationship Management: Ability to manage relationships and communications with other businesses and seek out ocal, regional and national level marketing opportunities.


  • Proven experience (4+ years) in marketing management
  • A track record of successful marketing campaigns with a balance between online and offline channels
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics
  • Ability to take ownership of a brand’s identity and implement successful content creation across all channels
  • Proficient in copywriting with a clear understanding of brand tone of voice
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Eye for detail when it comes to visual design work
  • Ability to travel to get content of jobs at different locations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Negotiable based on experience (£35,000.00 upwards)
